Looks real well! It is a "made-up" fake from a
group of 30 coins "found" in Timgad, Algeria which included
a sestercius of Caligula with the three sisters and Nero "Port of
Ostia". All the coins, when cleaned, show they are cast and junk
fakes for tourists. We kept some uncleaned to show how good a "make-up"
can be. |

A classic which passed many sales and books. We bought it
as genuine and withdrew it before it could go in a sale. Beirut school,
early 1970. |
